Our Approach To Lending
S&L Capital Group was founded by Corey Siegel and Bradley Laddusaw. Over the years, they identified many bottlenecks in the bridge loan process and have structured their capital sources, processes, and loan products to eliminate these hurdles. Drawing on their combined experience across underwriting, investor capital placement, loan servicing, and real estate finance strategy, they built the firm around a simple principle: deliver quick and pertinent feedback early in the loan submission process to eliminate uncertainty at the funding table.
The Company leverages technologies, vetted vendors, and resources available in the industry to streamline the underwriting process. This keeps underwriting and doc drawing in-house, greatly reducing the funding timeline, all while keeping overall loan costs down.
If you get a chance to speak with the guys, you will probably hear them say, “Bridge is Bridge, so let’s keep it simple.” Today they remain actively involved in structuring deals, supporting clients, and overseeing lending execution across the platform.

Corey Siegel

Corey Siegel is President and CEO of S&L Capital Group, where he works directly with real estate investors, brokers, and property owners to structure flexible bridge financing solutions across California.
Before co-founding S&L Capital Group with Bradley Laddusaw, Corey spent several years originating and structuring private real estate loans across the fix-and-flip, rental portfolio, and commercial bridge lending markets. His experience identifying workable solutions for time-sensitive transactions helped shape the firm’s approach to responsive asset-based lending.
At S&L Capital Group, Corey leads:

- strategic partnerships
- business development initiatives
Clients value Corey’s direct communication style and ability to quickly evaluate opportunities while providing clear expectations around execution timelines.
Beyond lending, Corey is active in the Southern California business community and currently serves as President of the Rotary Club of Brea.
Outside the office, he enjoys time with his wife and two children, strength training, and participating in community organizations supporting local business growth.
Bradley Laddusaw, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Bradley Laddusaw is Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of S&L Capital Group, where he oversees underwriting strategy, investor relationships, loan servicing operations, and financial structuring across the firm’s lending platform.
Brad began his career in the audit practice at Ernst & Young, working with clients in the real estate, homebuilding, and consumer product industries before transitioning into private lending. He later served as Vice President of Finance at a Los Angeles-based private lending company, where he led accounting, underwriting, servicing, and investor relations functions.
Since entering the private lending industry, Brad has been directly involved in underwriting and placing more than $300 million in trust deed investments with high-net-worth investors and family offices.
Brad holds:
- an active California CPA license
- an active California DRE Broker license
He currently serves as President of the California Mortgage Association (CMA) and participates on its Board of Directors, Education Committee, and Membership Committee.
Brad lives in Oceanside with his wife Jerica, their two sons, and their dogs Bud and Kit. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, basketball, and surfing.
